Perak State Department of Veterinary Services has taken the opportunity provided by Department of Veterinary Services, Malaysia computer programmes in answering Government's call towards an electronic government and foster cultured and informative society. Efforts taken all this while to spur the use of information technology by holding computer courses, discussions and workshops and in creating a data base has produced results as expected. Reactive data recorded with the use of VEINS is being used to change management structure towards being more pro-active.
Data from all data bases in operation center is integrated into Local Area Network (LAN) system. These data will in turn be whetted to produce promptly updated technical information beneficial for management as well as support group.
